Base-layer throughput for five major networks, refreshed from live sources roughly every fifteen seconds while this page is open. If a source is unreachable the lane says so instead of guessing.
Actual TPS is measured from public infrastructure, not from us: Bitcoin from mempool.space (transactions across the last six blocks divided by their time span), Ethereum from a public RPC node (transactions in the latest block divided by the 12 second slot), Solana from the cluster's own performance samples, the XRP Ledger from a public cluster node (transactions in the latest validated ledger over its close interval), and Stellar from Horizon (transactions in the latest ledger over the measured ledger interval).
Solana honesty note: Solana's headline throughput includes validator vote transactions, which are consensus overhead rather than user activity. The board's headline for Solana is non-vote transactions; the total including votes is shown underneath, smaller.
Claimed TPS is each project's own published figure: about 7 for Bitcoin's base layer (a design constant, not a target), roughly 15 to 30 for Ethereum layer 1 (ethereum.org, a figure the base layer now sometimes beats after gas-limit increases, and the reason rollups exist), 65,000 for Solana (solana.com marketing figure), 1,500 for the XRP Ledger (xrpl.org), and about 1,000 operations for Stellar (developers.stellar.org). Lab conditions and marketing pages are generous; that is rather the point of this board.
Seen this visit is session memory, not history: once a lane has at least three live readings, it shows the smallest and largest values this page has measured since you opened it, drawn as a short band on the same logarithmic scale. It resets when the page reloads and never leaves your browser. A low number is not an insult. An empty highway is not a broken highway: actual TPS reflects demand as much as capacity. Bitcoin near its ceiling and Solana far below its ceiling are both exactly what those designs predict. Motion note: the flowing dots animate at a rate proportional to each chain's live measured throughput (capped for legibility; one dot can represent many transactions).
